A bit about our founders.

The founders of Luminate have business histories steeped in digital marketing success. Both resided in executive leadership positions at one of South Africa’s most celebrated digital agencies, Hellocomputer.

Co-founder and Head of Strategy  
Matthys Esterhuysen

I have 16 years’ experience in digital marketing, with an MBA somewhere along the way. I spent the last 8 years leading the digital strategy for some of South Africa’s largest brands, including Toyota, Lexus, Cell C, South African Tourism, Barclays Africa, Absa and Fanta Global.
